IMPROVED PLAY FACILITIES
At Brokerswood, we are looking to ensure that our facilities remain stimulating and fun for children of all ages. "We are committed to constant innovation and investment, last year we added a 5-star shower block and 2007 is the year of the play areas". said Sue Capon, Owner and Director of Brokerswood Country Park.

This year we have added new play houses from Timber Play, who supply wooden playground equipment of the highest standard, created to support children's development and a fun place for them to enjoy.

A new undercover seating area is also attached to the cafe, increasing the area where children can sit and enjoy the park's unique atmosphere.

We are also developing the play equipment at the Play Trail on a regular basis.

MORE FISHING SUCCESS
One happy fisherman recently sent us this shot of himself proudly holding a 22lb carp caught here in the lake at Brokerswood. Chris, pictured here, said he would be returning regularly to the lake "I hope to catch an even bigger one next time!" he said. This carp was caught in July 2007 from the lake, which as well as common carp and mirror carp also contains roach and perch. See our fishing page for more details.


CAFE AND SHOP
Open 10 am to 5 pm daily, the shop is stocked with loads of useful and fun gifts for everyone, no matter what time of year it is. The cafe offers home cooked food with speciality teas and coffees, perfect to meet a friend or with the whole family. No admission fee to the park is necessary when visiting the shop and cafe

NEW FACILITY
The new shower and toilet facility has been a huge success with customers in 2006 "We have just had our third visit to Brokerswood Country Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location and setting are superb, the children are free to explore and the new shower and bathroom facilities are the best at any site I have stayed on. SANTA TRAIN 2008
We will be taking reservations for our Santa Train 2008 season, from 1st July.  Please note that reservations can only be made during office hours, 10.00 am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.
